A new report from the United Nations claims that almost 19,000 civilians were killed and an additional 36,000 were wounded in Iraq in the past two years during battles with ISIS. The report also estimated that 3,500 people are being held in slavery and sexual slavery by the self-declared Islamic State. Roughly 800 to 900 children have also been abducted from the city of Mosul for religious and military training. The documents called the death toll of civilians “staggering.”
