Score one for the big players: Denzel Washington, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Scarlett Johansson, Jude Law, Laura Linney, Liev Schreiber, Christopher Walken, Kelsey Grammer, Valerie Harper, Angela Lansbury and Sean Hayes all received Tony nominations. Grammer’s star turn was among the 11 nominations for La Cage Aux Folles, which tied the musical Fela! for the most nominations for a production. Fences, nominated for Best Revival of a Play, received 10 nominations. The star-studded Best Actor in a Play category included Washington, Law, Schreiber, Walken, and Alfred Molina. The Tony Award winners will be crowned June 13th on CBS from Radio City Music Hall.
