A passenger plane with 23 people on board that went missing in a mountainous region of western Nepal has crashed, local media reported Wednesday. Officials have announced that all of those on board, including two foreigners from China and Kuwait, were confirmed dead. Aviation Minister Ananda Pokhrel said the Tara Air plane was found crashed in a jungle in the Myagdi district, the Kathmandu Post reported. The Series 400 Twin Otter aircraft was traveling from Pokhara to Jomsom when it went off the radar shortly after takeoff. Police have said the plane was on an 18-minute flight and that it flew directly into a mountain. Officials said there were two children were on board.
