Ukraine has witnessed its most violent days since the protests began. Since clashes erupted on Tuesday between protesters and police, Kiev devolved into chaos on Wednesday morning, with riot police spraying water cannons and crowds throwing Molotov cocktails. Ukrainian authorities are reporting that at least 25 people have been killed and 240 have been injured. Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych blamed the protesters' leaders. Threatening a tough response, he said “They crossed the line when they called upon the people to take up arms. This is a flagrant violation of law.”
