A trio of Michigan State football players have been charged with criminal sexual misconduct after being accused of assaulting a woman in an on-campus apartment during a party in January. The woman said the athletes pulled her into a bathroom, raped her, and forced her to perform oral sex on them. The university previously announced in February that three football players had been suspended as part of the investigation. The athletes were identified in court as Demetric Vance, 20, and Donnie Corley Jr., 19, who both face third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges, and Josh King, 19, who was charged with first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct and with distributing an image of an unclothed person. The three were dismissed from the school’s football program immediately after the chargers were made public.
