Six people were shot and two were killed Monday outside a New York City church where a funeral was in progress. Police said gunfire broke out near the Emmanuel Church of God in Brooklyn during a funeral procession for an unidentified 38-year-old man. Four victims were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover, police said. Another person was found injured in a car near the scene, but it was not clear if that person was linked to the incident. Authorities are looking for multiple shooters and police say they believe shots were fired from both outside the church and from within. No other details were immediately available and police are reviewing surveillance footage as a part of the investigation.
