Police fatally shot a man after he stabbed nine people at a railway station during morning rush hour in China’s Guangzhou city on Friday. A second assailant was captured and arrested, police said. The incident is still under investigation, the city’s public security authorities said on an official microblog account. Police did not identify the attackers or disclose information on a possible motive. Last March, a mass stabbing at a train station left 29 people dead and 140 wounded in the southwest city of Kunming.
