If home is where the heart is, then Alex Rodriguez may want to consider moving. After speaking about his former steroid use at a press conference paper, the Yankees third baseman is getting no love from the local New York papers. “At this point you want Alex Rodriguez to find a cousin, any cousin, who will inject him with truth serum,” Mike Lupica writes in the New York Daily News. A-Rod’s main excuse was that he was “young and stupid,” but Lupica notes that he began using steroids when he was almost 26, as does the New York Post: “Rodriguez was born on July 27, 1975. That means that he would have started using just before his 26th birthday and stopped just after his 28th birthday. That means Alex Rodriguez thinks you, me, and everyone else listening to his sad explanations are complete and utter fools.”
