This is not the best news to come right before the holiday: Attorney General Eric Holder said the U.S. is under a “constant” terrorism threat and the American people “need to be prepared for potentially bad news.” Although Holder maintained that he believes the U.S. is as prepared as it can be, he said “terrorists only have to be successful once.” Holder said one of his biggest worries is that there are Americans willing to attack their own country, and the very idea “keeps him awake at night.” He also briefly touched on WikiLeaks, saying the investigation of Julian Assange is “ongoing,” and that Assange had “arrogant and misguided reasons” for publishing the diplomatic cables.
