In Texas, donations are flooding into the small town where a fertilizer plant explosion killed 14 people and injured dozens three days ago. In West, pop. 2,800, community centers are being filled with truckloads of donations to help the recovery effort—from matresses and water, to barbeque and cowboy boots. In true Southern hospitality style, some of the donations have been driven in from hundreds of miles away. Some West natives from afar have returned to lend a hand. "We're running out of places to put it," a local judge told the Los Angeles Times.
