An ABC 7 report Wednesday revealed three federal air marshals in Chicago were suspended after authorities discovered the men allegedly called prostitutes while working and used government-issued phones to record their sexual encounters. The three men allegedly posed as pornographers searching for women to star in their movies and used their federal phones to call and film their encounters with prostitutes. An investigation was launched when supervisors found incriminating evidence on one of the air marshals’ cellphones. The federal officers were allegedly put on unpaid leave and one of them has since resigned, according to sources familiar with the investigation. The Air Marshal Service declined to comment.
