Finally! A musical theater version of Alanis Morissette’s classic pop album Jagged Little Pill is coming to a musical theater near you. Morissette is adapting the 1995 record that catapulted her to fame for a 2014 workshop. Tom Kitt, the Broadway vet who translated Green Day’s American Idiot to the stage, will handle the arrangements and orchestrations. The show will include enduring favorites like “You Oughta Know” and “Ironic,” as well as some “other songs I’ve written and released, and some I haven’t released, in the past 17 years,” said Morissette.
