Amanda Knox returned to court for the latest hearing in her appeal of her conviction for murdering her British housemate. The 23-year-old American was convicted last year and sentenced to 26 years for the 2007 murder in Perugia, Italty. In December, Knox's hope of overturning her conviction was rekindled when a judged ordered an independent review of crucial forensic evidence. Knox was found guilty based on DNA evidence from a knife and a bra clasp that the judge said could easily have been contaminated separately from the crime. Her 26-year-old boyfriend is also appealing his conviction for participating in the murder. "She is doing OK; she is apprehensive though," Knox's father said. "We have had things go well in the past and still she is in prison. Still they found her guilty at the first hearing."
