An American is reportedly among the victims of a deadly shooting spree in Pakistan that left nine foreign tourists and two others dead on one of the world's highest peaks, Nanga Parbat. Authorities say the armed men entered a camp in northern Pakistan, donning uniforms used by a local paramilitary force, and then opened fire on the tourists. A local branch of the Taliban has already stepped forward to claim responsibility for the incident—saying that it was in retaliation for a recent drone strike that took down one of their leaders. "Our attacks on foreigners will continue to protest over drone strikes," a spokesman for the militant group told NBC News. The names of the victims have yet to be released.
