Comedian Amy Schumer revealed her plans to host the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, taking over MTV’s social-media platforms Wednesday to make the announcement. “I am honored to be hosting the awards,” Schumer said. “I will carry the audience with me like a teen mom #breaktheinternet #breakmywater.” The star of Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer is the first to announce herself as host in the awards’ show’s 24-year history. The MTV Movie Awards is set to air April 12 at 9 p.m. ET.
