The 2010 Baseball Hall of Fame Class is an elite one: Only Andre Dawson, who played between 1977 and 1998, was elected. Dawson received 77.9 percent of the vote, just over the required 75 percent. In his career with the Expos, Cubs, Red Sox, and Marlins, he hit 438 home runs, drove in 1,591 RBIs, and won the 1987 NL MVP. Bert Blyleven came just short with 74.2 percent, while Roberto Alomar, whom many thought would make it in his first year of eligibility, received 73.7 percent. Dawson will be inducted on July 25.
