Anita Pallenberg, the actress/model who was a muse to the Rolling Stones, has died at the age of 73. Born in German-occupied Rome in 1944, Pallenberg famously left troubled Stones founding guitarist Brian Jones for Keith Richards, and the pair went on to have three children together during years of alleged heavy drug use. She also appeared with Mick Jagger in the film Performance and contributed backup vocals on “Sympathy for the Devil.” Her death was announced on Instagram by actor and friend Stella Schnabel. Her cause of death has not yet been confirmed. She is survived by two children, Marlon and Angela.
