Ministers from 20 countries are set to meet in Paris on Tuesday to discuss their strategy on battling the self-declared Islamic State and helping Iraq retake Ramadi from the militant force. Officials from countries including Saudi Arabia and Turkey are expected to tell Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Abadi, a moderate Shiite, to be more inclusive and convince Sunni Arab tribes to join the fight against ISIS, Reuters reports. A senior State Department official also confirmed Secretary of State John Kerry would take part in the meeting remotely, after he broke his leg in France on Sunday and was being treated in Boston. The coalition is also expected to examine how to fight ISIS through airstrikes, cutting off financing, curbing the flow of foreign fighters, providing more humanitarian aid, and cracking down on the group’s online presence.
