Temperatures in parts of the U.S. and Canada have dropped by as much as 40 degrees as cold air has been pushed south by a powerful storm hitting Alaska with hurricane-force winds. Parts of Michigan have already received more than two feet of snow, more than 150 fights have been canceled at the Minneapolis airport, and at least two people have been killed in the Minnesota due to icy roads. According to the National Weather Service, the conditions should begin to ease later on Wednesday.
