A facebook group - 'Support Prince Harry With a Naked Salute' - featuring images of naked soldiers tactically preservign their modesty has topped 12,000 members.
Hundreds of soldiers have stripped off in support of the prince for the rapidly-growing group.
Pictures include military men and women posing naked in their barracks or standing nude on tanks in Afghanistan.
Hundreds of participants are creatively covering their modesty with everything including Union flags, military backpacks and even their guns in honour of the third-in-line to the throne.
Group founder Jordan Wylie, 29, from Blackpool told the Mirror: “I can’t believe how much it’s taken off, it’s unbelievable. I started the group after my mate, who is about to deploy, sent me a picture of himself saluting naked as a joke after hearing about Prince Harry. What started as a jokey conversation in the pub has turned into a huge worldwide thing with people from all kinds of countries getting involved. Thousands of members of the military and ex military are involved, sending us pictures from Afghanistan and everything."
