Well, it probably had to happen.
A woman from Toronto with 'an unhealthy attraction' to Prince Harry was arrested for trespassing at the Greenwich Polo Club during Prince Harry's visit and benefit polo match there on Wednesday. She has been locked up and is apparently unable to post a thousand-buck bond.
Police suggested she was a known stalker of the Prince, saying that 'international law enforcement agencies' had issued advisories 'to be watchful for her'.
According to a report by local news site Greenwich Patch, Police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray, said the woman, Wen Qi, was first found walking along North Street near the polo grounds.
She was warned by Greenwich Police working security at the invitation-only event that "she wasn't allowed on the property." The woman left the area by cab but another Greenwich officer spotted her a short time later by a fence.Qi, 36, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass.Gray said, "Prince Harry is a high prominence figure. There are some people who have an unhealthy attraction to him."Qi could not post the $1,000 bond and was assigned a May 22 date to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford.
