Ashton Kutcher is taking a break from Twitter after posting a controversial comment defending former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. Upon hearing of Paterno’s firing, Kutcher tweeted, “How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste.” He later apologized and tweeted that he did not have the “full story.” This is not his first Twitter mistake. On September 11, the actor tweeted, “greatest day of the year,” a reference to the start of football season. Now Kutcher, who has more than 8 million followers, has announced that he will turn control of his Twitter feed to his management team. “While I will continue to express myself through @Aplusk I’m going to turn the management of the feed over to my team at Katalyst Media to ensure the quality of its content,” he wrote.
