Camera footage released to the family of 17-year-old LaQuan McDonald, who was killed after being shot 16 times by a Chicago police officer, is missing audio. According to the McDonald family lawyer, there were five police vehicles on the scene and none of the audio works on the dash-cam footage, which does show McDonald moving away from the officer, who said he felt his life was in danger. (McDonald was allegedly brandishing a knife.) In May, it was also discovered that officers allegedly deleted 86-minutes of surveillance-camera footage from a Burger King that was 100 yards from the shooting.
