Balloon Drama at Macy's Parade

Hope you kept your eyes peeled to the TV screen, as there was lots of drama and some hot new arrivals in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. A cart ran over the leg of one of Buzz Lightyear's handlers, sending her to the hospital. Spiderman might be able to beat the Green Goblin, but he was no match for one of Central Park's trees, which pierced his arm, causing it to deflate. Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time had its characters Finn and Jake featured. Meanwhile, Toothless from the DreamWorks hit How to Train Your Dragon also soared above the crowds. And some old-time favorites also got a refresh. Snoopy and SpongeBob each had brand new balloons, with SpongeBob now rocking a festive elf hat. The NYPD also ordered the ballons be flown at a lower height due to weather conditions.
