Baltimore’s homicide total reached 300 for the year, more than any year since 1999, police said Sunday. Police data revealed nearly 300 people had been killed in 2015 as of Nov. 7, compared with 187 during the same period last year. “The 300th homicide is no more tragic than the first homicide of 2015, or the 50th, or the 200th,” Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said. In 1999, 305 people were listed as homicides.
