Two women confirmed to Reuters on Friday that they'd been kicked off Tinder for using the popular dating app to stump for Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. Robyn Gedrich, 23, of New Jersey, and Haley Lent, 22, of Iowa, admitted to sending messages to prospective daters attempting to convince them to vote for Sanders in his nomination race against Hillary Clinton. Both were sent notices that they had been locked out of their accounts. A representative for Tinder—which is owned by the same parent company as The Daily Beast—did not comment on the account suspensions.
