Bill Clinton is really riding the high from his Democratic National Convention speech. The former president told CNN’s Piers Morgan that he could be president again—just in Ireland or France. Clinton explained that he has “Irish heritage,” making him eligible in Ireland, and since he is from Arkansas, part of France’s onetime colony later sold in the Louisiana Purchase, he said he could possibly move to France and run there—although he admitted that “once they heard my broken French with a southern accent, I would drop into the single digits within a week and I’d be toast.” But Foreign Policy magazine quickly ended the fun, writing that both claims are null.
