In addition to eating more, people said that as a result of drinking, they canceled physical activities and instead choose bed and TV. According to Dr. Jacquie Lavin, head of nutrition and research at Slimming World, “Alcohol makes the food even more rewarding. It tastes good and feels even better than it would do normally.” Experts were quick to point out that while useful, the report is a survey and not a scientific study.
