Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich told ABC News Friday that, despite daunting challenges from prosecutors that await him, he imagines a big, Winston Churchill-style political comeback in his future. When asked about a possible return to politics, Blagojevich said, “I’m not ruling out doing something I’ve spent my whole adult life doing. I believe some of the greatest stories in history are some of the great comebacks.” A jury this week found Blagojevich guilty of lying to federal agents—only one of 24 counts. In the interview, he added that the feds were after damaging information on “folks in higher places”—and suggested, in a roundabout way, that President Obama could be among them. After answering a slew of other uncomfortable questions from Brian Ross, Blagojevich said, “If I’m guilty of anything, it's that I talk too much.”
