A cover illustration of minority characters grabbing fistfuls of money probably wasn't the wisest choice to depict Bloomberg Businessweek's “The Great American Housing Rebound” cover story this week. Josh Tyrangiel, the magazine's editor, responded to reader outrage by saying, “Our cover illustration last week got strong reactions, which we regret. Our intention was not to incite or offend. If we had to do it over again we’d do it differently.” The artist behind the cover claims he was just “asked to make an excited family with large quantities of money” to illustrate the story on the market’s rebound.
