In its sixth consecutive win against an African team in the World Cup, the unstoppable Brazilians beat Ivory Coast 3-1. A header from Ivory Coast's Didier Drogba in the 80th minute gave Africa its first ever World Cup goal against Brazil. Brazil's Luis Fabiano scored the first goal of the game on a pass from Kaká in the 25th minute, and then followed that up with another goal, a 50th-minute left-footed volley. Kaká racked up two yellow cards in quick succession late in the game, and was sent off the field thereafter. The star player will miss his team's showdown against Portugal. "I'm trying to look at this in a positive way," he said, "I will have more time to prepare for the round of 16 and I will come back with the same thirst for victories."
