A British man is being held by police in Hong Kong as a suspect in the murder of two women believed to be sex workers. Rurik Jutting, 29, called the police to an apartment in the affluent neighborhood of Wan Chai. Police arrived to find a woman dead at the scene with cuts to her neck and butt, as well as a suitcase on the balcony with another female’s body. The police then arrested Jutting. Jutting is reportedly a former employee of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The woman in the suitcase appears to have been dead “for quite some time.” The two women are reportedly of Asian or South East Asian origin, and believed to be sex workers.
