BusinessWeek is showing its first major changes following its acquisition by Bloomberg last December. On the cover of Thursday's magazine, Bloomberg will get equal billing. Inside, readers will find twice the number of stories as before. Having gutted its staff, much of Businessweek's new content will be written by Bloomberg's massive army of reporters. Some moves have led to staff grumbling. "We never expected to flip a switch and for it to be Nirvana," Bloomberg President Daniel Doctoroff told the Wall Street Journal. Readers of The Economist will find the layout of the new number familiar. It is divided into five sections for stories: economics, companies, politics and policy, technology, and markets.
