A California man was sentenced Tuesday to 12 years behind bars for attempting to join and provide material support to ISIS. Nicholas Michael Teausant, 22, was arrested in March 2014 while traveling to Canada en route to Syria. He was indicted that month and pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to provide matierial support to a foreign terrorist organization.
