America, or at least the GOP debate crowd, is on Herman Cain’s side when it comes to his harassment scandal. The GOP frontrunner received a roar of applause when he downplayed the multiple sexual-harassment charges against him, saying, “The American people deserve better than someone getting tried in the court of public opinion based on unfounded accusations.” Mitt Romney, given a chance to address Cain about the allegations, chose not to. When mentioning Nancy Pelosi shutting down a fix to the health-care law, Cain referred to her as "Princess Nancy." The crowd went wild and Cain's camp even advertised the comment on Twitter. He later apologized for the dig, noting "that was a statement I probably should not have made."
