A Dutch politician landed in Britain to screen his anti-Islamic film for a member of parliament—only to be turned away by UK officials out of fear that its inflammatory subject would "would threaten community security and therefore public security," British officials say. Dutch MP Geert Wildeers has called for a ban of the Koran in his native Holland, purporting a connection in the film between terrorism and the holy Muslim scripture. Predictably, he's outraged over his deportation: "I am a democrat," he said. "I use my freedom of speech. I am using all the democratic means I have." Defending his claim, the National Secular Society said that Britain had acted unjustly in denying an application by a "democratically-elected politician from a sovereign state who wants to come and express an opinion."
