Allen Stanford, but unlike Madoff, Stanford still has his freedom: The Texas financier is currently missing, with ABC News reporting that “federal authorities say they do not know the current whereabouts of the CEO.” MSNBC is reporting, meanwhile, that Stanford tried to flee to Antigua on a private jet today. His business was headquartered in Antigua, where there has been a run on banks affiliated with him.
