A real-life Thomas Crown has struck in Paris: Police report that a shiny red notebook filled with 33 pencil drawings by Pablo Picasso was stolen from the museum that bears his name, in the city's Marais neighborhood. The robbery took place between Monday and Tuesday morning, officials say; the book, which is valued at around $11 million, was stolen from a specially locked case that "can only be opened with a specific instrument," according to the city's Culture Ministry. The book is inscribed with the word "Album" in gold on the front, and it's dated from 1917 to 1924. The market for stolen art amounts to billions of dollars annually, the Associated Press reports.
