North Korea held a massive rally of 100,000 people Thursday dedicated entirely to talking trash about its enemies, specifically the U.S. Kim Jong-il's cronies went so far as to direct a threat of a "fire shower of nuclear retaliation" at South Korea and the U.S. The event commemorated the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950. Some of the rhetoric seemed very reminiscent of the turmoil in Iran, as the regime accused the U.S. of meddling in their domestic affairs. The rally was held in front of a U.S. spy ship captured in international waters in 1968, which remains prominently docked in Pyongyang as a trophy of North Korea's supposed dominance.
