Bill Clinton may have been in the headlines because of his rescue mission in North Korea, but former Clinton colleague Bill Richardson has plenty of experience conducting high-level diplomacy with Pyongyang as well. Richardson met with two North Korean diplomats on Tuesday, and said that their conversation is another signal relations are thawing between the two countries. Richardson added that the North Koreans feel they are "owed something" for having released the two journalists. Yet North Korea is far from ready to engage the global community: The diplomats pushed for one-on-one talks with U.S. officials and scoffed at the notion of speaking with the Chinese, South Koreans, or Japanese.
