Tyler Florence to Host Recipe Show on Lifetime

Lifetime (formerly officially “Television for Women,” now unofficially so) has picked up the pilot called Search for the Greatest American Recipe to be hosted by Food Network star Tyler Florence. The premise of the show is, well, just what the title says: Tyler Florence will visit seven regions of America to find the best uniquely American recipes. The finalists will then be tested against each other to determine which recipe is truly the “Greatest American Recipe.” Florence is host of the show Tyler’s Ultimate and has previously hosted Food 911.
