As it turns out, the people love the bloodsuckers who would prey on them. Vampires won big at the 36th annual People's Choice Awards Wednesday night. Twilight won for favorite movie, franchise, and onscreen team, with hunky actor Taylor Lautner picking up the breakout male actor award, while HBO series True Blood won for favorite TV obsession and The CW's Vampire Diaries won for favorite new TV drama. Other honorees included Glee, the favorite new TV comedy, Lady Gaga, who won for favorite pop and breakout music artist, and House, which won for favorite TV drama, and whose star, Hugh Laurie, took home the prize for favorite TV drama actor.
