Eight years after accidently killing his 55-year-old driver with a shotgun, former NBA star Jayson Williams has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and will face the minimum 18 months to five years in prison. According to witnesses, Williams was drinking and showing off a shotgun when he accidently shot Costas Christofi in the chest. In 2004, Williams was acquitted on aggravated manslaughter and convicted of coverup charges. The jury deadlocked on reckless manslaughter—charges on which he could still face retrial.
