With more than 100,000 feared dead in the Haitian earthquake, the rest of the world is rallying to help the destitute nation. President Obama is spearheading the international effort, and has ordered a widespread military and civilian campaign. The current focus is on finding survivors, according to a U.N. spokeswoman. Aid organizations and world governments are banding together to make it happen. In addition to personnel already sent, countries across Europe, Asia, and South America have pledged aid. The World Health Organization sent specialists to help with mass casualties and corpses, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies says it is preparing to help a "maximum of three million people," and is using its emergency stocks in the country. The World Food Program says it can provide 15,000 tons of food on short notice. On the monetary side of things, the World Bank has pledged an additional $100 million to Haiti, Brazil announced it is sending $10 million in additional aid, and the Red Cross has launched a $10 million campaign.
