The White House is preparing to ask House Democrats to approve the Senate version of the health-care reform bill, in case Republicans win the Massachusetts special election Tuesday, The New York Times reports. If the House approves the Senate bill, it would go directly to President Obama to sign. Scott Brown, who is leading Martha Coakley in several polls, says he will not vote for the bill, which would deny Democrats the 60th vote they need to prevent a filibuster. Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) said he doesn't think the Senate bill will pass the House.
