Well, this is hardly surprising. Lindsay Lohan’s widely reviled collection for Emanuel Ungaro in December was apparently her first and last attempt for the Parisian label. Designer Estella Archs debuted the Fall 2010 collection of jewel-colored dresses today, and when WWD asked owner Asim Abdullah if Lohan had lent her expertise as artistic adviser, Abdullah said she was not involved this time around. “You have up and downs and you learn a lot, more from the downs than from the ups,” said Archs. Lohan was brought on to bring a young spin to the label, but the revealing dresses and glitter pasties backfired—the head of the label, Mounir Moufarrige, resigned weeks after the December show, and Ungaro weathered a barrage of bad press, including Net-a-Porter and Neiman Marcus dropping it for spring.
