Somehow, we doubt he keeps a sign of the saying on his desk, like President Truman: “The buck stops with me,” RNC Chairman Michael Steele assured his staff in an internal memo, before passing the buck to his chief of staff, Ken McKay, who resigned on Monday. “That is why I have made this change in management," Steele wrote. Steele continues to insist that he will not resign in the wake of the scandal over his lavish expenses and, in particular, the RNC reimbursement of a donor who spent $2,000 at a bondage-themed sex club.
