The lineup for this year's Cannes' film festival has finally been released. Sixteen films from 13 countries will compete for honors, including two countries in competition for the first time. The festival will also see the screening of Oliver Stone's sequel Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, with Michael Douglas reprising his iconic role of Gordon Gekko, and Woody Allen's You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger with Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins and Naomi Watts, although neither of these films will compete for honors. French New Wave director Jean-Luc Godard will be courting controversy with his documentary Socialism, while Ridley Scott's Robin Hood will open the festival on May 12. The real story may be the news coverage—Reuters, Getty Images, the AFP and Associated Press boycotted Thursday's news conference to protest the 2010 press restrictions and may not attend if they can't come to an agreement with festival organizers, who signed video exclusivity contracts with sponsors Canal Plus and Orange.
