As if Facebook wasn't enough of an omnipresent site, Mark Zuckerberg has come up with what he calls "the most transformative thing we've ever done for the Web." The social networking guru announced a new platform for Facebook during his keynote speech at the company's annual conference for developers. Now, after signing into one's account, it will be even easier for users to share their interests with contacts on other websites. Called Open Graph, the new platform will allow partner sites to embed the "like" button and display modules that list other friends' comments on non-Facebook content. "This is a really significant step for Facebook," Zuckerberg said. "For the first time, the likes and interests of my profile link to pages off of Facebook.com." On its initial list of more than 30 content partners, Facebook boasts The New York Times, ESPN.com, CNN.com, and IMDB.
