'Cullen' Breaks into Top 500

Naming babies “Dracula” never really caught on, but the name “Cullen,” as in the vampiric Twilight character Edward Cullen, played by Robert Pattinson, is making moves on the most popular baby names list. Coming in at the 485th spot, the name jumped up 297 places from 2008 to land in the top 500, just a year after the popular book was made into film. In classic Team Edward vs. Team Jacob fashion, however, the name “Jacob” remains in the top spot for the 11th straight year, while “Edward” rolls in at 137.
